What does my server staff receive?
Confirmation that a member is 18 or older and meets any higher age requirement you set. Members’ ID images, selfies, legal names, addresses and exact birth dates are not shared with server staff.
Which age requirements can my server use?
The examples here use 18+. The planned options include requirements such as 18+ and 21+. Your moderators see whether a member meets your requirement, not their exact birth date. Members can review what is kept and the controls they’ll have.
Do members have to verify again for my server?
Not if they’ve already verified in a server with the GetVerified bot and that verification is still active and meets your age requirement. The bot adds your role without a new upload. Otherwise, they complete the usual steps.
Why add an ID check when Discord has age groups?
